The Philippine Bible Society (PBS) invites you to come and participate in the culmination event for the National Bible Week at the Folk ArtsTheater on January 27, Saturday, starting at 9 am!

The whole day celebration is called Biblia Fiesta, which offers a variety of activities centered on the Word of God for the whole family.

Points - Armors to defense and offense
1. Belt of truth

• to stand firm because the truth of God is unchangeable
• live honestly and with integrity

2. Breastplate of righteousness

• exercise practical righteousness daily
• don't give satan any inch to attack you. Be always ON GUARD!

3. The shoes of the gospel/Gospel of Peace

• a soldier could not be pushed forward nor slip down.
• Be prepared to share the gospel.

4. Shield of Faith

• remember that we are not alone in the battle
• Living Faith is simply trusting God

5. Helmet of Salvation

• this gives confidence, oftentimes the enemy would implant us to doubt.
• Dont give up! "sa kabila ng kawalan, maari pa rin tayong magtiwala"

6. The sword of the Spirit

• Be familiar with the Father's word.
• Read it, study it and meditate on it!

Imagine this happening to you...

One Sunday morning during service, a 2,000 member congregation was surprised to see two men enter, both covered from head to toe inblack and carrying submachine guns.
One of the men proclaimed,"Anyone willing to take a bullet for Christ remain where you are."
Immediately, the choir fled...the deacons fled...and most of the congregation fled....Out of the 2,000 there onlyremained around 20.

The man who had spoken took off his hood... He then looked at the preacher andsaid
"OkayPastor, I got rid of all the hypocrites... Now you may begin your service. Have a niceday!"
And the two men turned and walked out.
